I never used to think it would work on a human, but I've met several people named Mars recently (although one is a nickname) and I think it's cool on the right person.
I still think Ares sounds more namey and less planety.

I don't love it. It doesn't seem like it would age well, sorry! But I do like the name Lars, what do you think of that?

I actually really like the name Mars. But I would never personally use it.

The god of war thing puts me off but I do think Mars is a very cool name. I also like it as a nickname for Marshall.

It's the name I chose for myself! Someone on this board suggested it, i cant remember who though. Thr onĺy issue Ive had with it is because I roll my 'R's so I get asked how to spell it at starbucks every single time. "Like the planet" "oh Mars!!" That's what I said :')
