I have a cousin Holly; interestingly, it's "short" for "Hollis". Or Maybe Hollice? I can't remember, one of those.
I think it would be cute and unexpected on a new baby, *because* it is passé. It is passé in a friendly, gentle way. So, 6/10.
I like the combo Holly Claire or Holly Clare quite a bit, the two names have a similar feel for me.
