It was popular here in Australia about 10 years ago, I think that would have been when it hit peak popularity. I didn’t really like it at first, it was just a bit light and flimsy to me. Then it started to grow on me and I soon discovered I actually didn’t mind the name, if it had the
Siena spelling. It made me think of Italy, somewhere I’ve always been interested in and always wanted to visit. I still think of the colour, but I also think of the city, so for those reasons,
Siena is my preferred spelling. It is a pretty name.
