[Opinions] Dafina and Jasmina
What do you think about this as the names of two sisters? Jasmina is pronounced with a y, btw. What about individually? Dafina means laurel, related to Daphne. I was also looking through submitted names and found Aleva, and it's apparently medieval English but sounds so cute and modern. Thoughts? Also Aliva?https://www.behindthename.com/name/aleva/submitted

I think they pair beautifully together. I'm not a fan of Aliva/Aleva. It reminds me too much of the medication.

I like Dafina but not Jasmina or Aliva

I'd have to say, all 3 are very pretty.

What a coincidence!I see a post about Jasmina right after I assist a student at my work with that name! She introduced herself as Jasmina with a J-pronunciation, though, perhaps Americanizing her name (based on her surname I believe she's of Bosnian descent). It's a pretty name, though; and so is Dafina. And I could believe they're sisters.Aleva is one of those names, like Allegra, that's cursed by medication. As soon as I said it aloud, all I could think of was the "Aleve" pain relief medication.

Finally! Someone that realizes that Allegra is an allergy medicine!

I quite like Dafina. It's a refreshing twist on Daphne. I can take or leave all forms of Jasmine. Maybe it's the Disney princess thing. But it's pretty as well and they go nicely together. Aleva is pretty. But I confess, I did think of Aleve, the OTC pain killer right away.
