This was actually first popularized for girls way back in the 1950s in the USA by a TV star named Kyle MacDonnell:https://www.tvobscurities.com/articles/kyle-macdonnell-tvs-forgotten-star/Back in high school I knew two girls named Kyle -- one my own age and one two or three years younger than me who was the younger sister of a friend. And that was in a suburb of Buffalo, New York, so this wasn't a "Southern preppy" thing but almost surely on the inspiration of Ms. MacDonnell.(I was born in 1951.)

Oh dear. It's tired and flat enough on a boy! And people would probably assume it was short for Kylie, and/or shorten it to Kylie. Best avoided.

Nobody should be named Kyle ever

I mean, I don't hate it more on a girl than I already do on a boy. It might be slightly better on a girl. That doesn't change my opinion of the name, which is that it's awful and stupid sounding. I'd like my name to convey to others that I'm an idiot. Great, Kyle it is. Or Cody.Kylie is slightly better on a girl. Slightly.

I don't even like Kyle on a guy. I had an annoying interaction with someone last week and was internally like "ugh of course his name was Kyle"

1/10 on a boy, 0/10 on a girl.

It's fine. Same as Ryan on a girl. My grandma used to live next to a guy named Kiel, pronounced like Kyle is.

oh, goodness, I don't even like it for a guy, but a girl? Just ugly. Brings nothing to the table.
