[Opinions] Boy names Slavic/Russian/Spanish
Hi! Here again for opinions on my second, due this summer. First is Alejandra Violet. Last name is 3 syllables, begins with A, rhymes with John. I am of Ukrainian, African & some Native American decent. My husband is Dominican & Ecuadorian. I love honoring our heritages with name ideas. I thought our #1 boy name was Douglas, after my husband’s late best friend. But it’s still a sore spot for him. :(Now he likes “Race”, as in Race Bannon from Jonny Quest. Don’t worry, I said no lol. Although not necessarily from the cultures listed above, I like Jordan, Julian, Lorenzo nn Enzo, and Leonardo nn Leo. Always loved Zachariah nn Zach, but that’s now “so 90s.” We like the idea of a color middle name, to mirror our daughter’s middle name Violet. Douglas Asher was my top pick. Now I’m not sure but open to suggestion! For a baby sister we both like Catalina. But are sisters named Aly & Cat cute or cringe? Thanks gang!

Alejandra and Catalina "Aly and Cat" is cute. I think David is a fairly International choice, its used in both Russian and Spanish and easy to pronounce. I love Leonardo, Lorenzo and Julian but they all lean towards the Spanish side, and not so much Russian or Slavic. That is, if you are wanting a name that applies to both. Some other suggestions:
Simon
Alexander
Felipe / Filip
Victor
Felix
Constantin
George
Eduard
Mikhail/Michael
Gabriel
Nicolas
Matias
Xavier

I actually think Race could be a cute nickname for a toddler. He'd outgrow it quickly but it's a fun idea, like Buddy.Roberto Douglas "Race"
Zachariah Douglas is very dignified.
Would he be happier if Douglas was in the middle spot? Asher Douglas?Colour names:
