This was one of my favourite names for ages! I really liked it. It's funny though, after Downton Abbey's Sibyl, I liked it less, even though she was a great character. That show made me appreciate Edith and dampened my crush on Sibyl. Maybe Sibyl is one of those names that I like the look of, but the sound isn't as nice.
I prefer Sybil, that "Syb" seems witchy and I like the idea of occasionally calling a Sybil "Billie" or "Bill". I do naturally write Sybil, Sibyl takes effort.
