It's pretty. I wonder why it never became popular. The meaning is nice too. I like it, but not enough to use because I don't really have a strong connection to it. If I read a book with a great character named Phoebe that might change. There was a Phoebe in "Catcher in the Rye" and I like her character but she wasn't a main character.

The downsides: it looks a bit better and more interesting than it sounds. It ages well, though.
