I don't mind the name and even a little bit enjoy it when it needs a nickname for something longer like
Eleanor,
Lenore,
Leonora,
Annora, Menora etc. but when it is by itself it feels very plain and lifeless. I like the
Norah spelling a little more but as it is I have no idea how it got back into style in some areas because it feels very much like an elderly spinster name in my mind. SO many more retro, short names that are better imo like:
Sylvia MarieEdithHelenaMaggie Bernice Thelma-Lou
RubyBettyIreneDora- yes I like
Dora better as a stand along more than
NoraCora- this is the best of the 2 syllable-ora ending names imo
RitaMolly HazelGloriaJoanieRuthVeraVada
CathleenJane AmyRosaNoreen? There's also Noreena/Norina, Nordica..
Please rate my favorite names list if you have a spare moment, thank you :)
