Alice Fern is ok. I only like Fern as a mn

Oh, I love Fern, it's one of my sleeper favourites. It's a quiet, odd little name - unusual but very gentle about it. I see it as a very intelligent name as well. I also love that Fern is also German for "far away" (or something like that), which is so poetic. I definitely get hippie vibes from Fern.

Fern Christina would be beautiful as well. Alice Fern is really sweet, and works better than Fern Alice, imo. And come to think of it, Charlotte Fern would be a charming combo... Fern Charlotte works too! But maybe that's a bit too "themey".

Alice Fern is good. Generally speaking, I prefer Fern as a nn for Fernanda.

I love Fern's charming frumpiness - derived from the fact that the strongest vowel sound is, basically, a schwa. Yet it's not a forgettable name by any means. I really liked Fern as a little girl, but then I didn't think about it for a long time. Now it's in my Top 10! The plants are also really cool. :-)

I didn't like Fern in the Charlotte's Web movie because they made her such a helpless crybaby! I like the name though. I just wish the word fern sounded more like how ferns look, if that makes sense.
