I think Katarina is gorgeous, and prefer it to Katherine, et al. I'm also more partial to Rina as a nickname than Kat / Kate / etc.

It's very pretty. I do prefer Katrina, but Katarina is great.

I feel like I'd like it better if it wasn't so awkward to say. In English it's completely butchered, and in Spanish I end up trying to say Catalina...
