I don't know that it's ready for a comeback, it's just not the style now. But it is cute and even though it's dated it doesn't feel old-lady.

I like it as a nickname for Christina or Bettina but not as a name in itself. The only Tina I’ve known was a Christina who went by Tina. It’s a much better nickname than Chrissy or Christy IMO.

Tina sounds older to me imo. I had an older coworker named Tina who had 3 boys, who was soo sweet. It also reminds me of the oldest sibling Tina from the show Bob's Burgers, such a fun show. Maybe as a nickname for Katerina.
