Out of curiosity: in Denmark, would people with hyphenated names such as these generally be referred to by the full hyphenated name ("Hans-Peter"), or might they end up going by just one of them in day-to-day life ("Hans" or "Peter")?
"Do you not find it happens very often, that you are as gay as Garrick at dinner and then by supper-time you wonder why God made the world?"
