It's all right. For a feminine Paul- name I prefer Paula. I can see Paulette coming back into fashion in a few years.

I grew up with a Paulette that was my age (I was born in ‘99) so it never had that dated feeling for me. I think it’s pretty. I like Paulina and Pauline too.

This was the name of one of my gym teachers in high school, and it's the only place I've ever seen it in the wild. So it has a very strong, physical quality to it for me. I think I prefer Pauline, in terms of Paul-names.

I don't like Paul names in general, and the "ette" part, while it makes some names sound charming, makes Paulette feel rather silly. It reminds me of clucking hens.

I am really liking Paulette lately. More so than Pauline, which I used to favor. I'm drawn to a lot of the -ette names actually. Jeanette, Annette, etc... They have a sort of mid century retro appeal I am currently appreciating.
