[Opinions] Velvetia
What do you guys think of Velvetia as a middle name?

It'd be eccentric, kinda theatrical? but if someone thinks it'd be fun to have as a middle name, there'd be nothing really wrong with giving it. Middle names can be pretty much anything that isn't unequivocally mean.
I'm just hung up on the pronunciation. I first read it as Vel-VEE-sha. But then I thought, is it Vel-VET-ee-a? I don't like Velvet and Vel-VET-ee-a is better, but Vel-VEE-sha is not. jmo if it is vel-VET-ee-a I would spell it with 2 t's, Velvettia. Distinguishes it better from Velveeta too.

Velveeta cheese??

It’s not even a particularly high-end cheese. At least go with Gruyeria or Camembertia.
It's too close to Velveeta, which I suspect you already know. It also has the ring of urban legends with racial overtones, like the famous twins Orangejello and Lemonjello.
I like it as a potential name for an opossum.
I can tollerate almost everything in the middle name spot, but this makes me think of a brand.
Sounds too forced and convoluted. Also reminds me of Velveeta cheese.
Nah, too cheesy.
