I like that it's floral, and I like the sound. I wouldn't give it to my daughter, though - it would be too easy to turn into ass-ter, or something worse.

I like Astra and Astrea (Astraea) a little bit more, than Aster. And, yeah, the meaning is the most appealing part of this name.
