I used to adore this name. I fell in love with it many years ago when I read the Longfellow poem in school. It has slipped a couple of notches for some reason in recent years. Still like it, though.

My favorite of all of the names I could possibly know. It has the highest compliment I have to offer and it is what I want to use someday.

I used to like it, but it reminds me too much of the word evangelist now. I prefer Eva and Evelyn and Evelina and other similar names now, as they don't come with so much 'baggage'.
