Juliet is the only fem form of Julius that I like at all. I love the Shakespeare connection! But, nns like Julie and (shudder) Jules seem inevitable, so I'd only use it as a mn.Definitely stress on the first syllable. ETA, jooleeETT doesn't fit into iambic pentameters! Nobody says romeeOH.Juliette is fine in Francophone places, but not elsewhere; plus, it encourages Anglophones to emphasise the third syllable.
