I feel like this whole thing from top to bottom is set up to judge this girl as trashy or valley-girl-esque or whatever, and it's honestly kind of weird and uncomfortable. I don't know this girl and I'm not going to judge her. The name is a typical case of both wanting to use a popular name and wanting to give a child a unique name and thinking a weird spelling somehow evens this out. But it's hardly egregious or anything. I'd have told her parents to pick either naming her Jessica or giving her a unique name and then named her Jessica or Jacinth accordingly.

Sorry! I didn't mean that at all. I was going to ask about several names on the more unusual side.
Also Valley Girl never came (or would ever come) to mind - I'm Northern British and so is she. She's certainly not a "valley-girl" as I understand the stereotype.
I was just wondering how people would rename her based on her personality and what I remember of her - what names come to mind sort of thing
