[Opinions] Pleasance
Pleasance was the middle name of Alice Liddell, the little girl who inspired the "Alice in Wonderland" books.
I was curious, what do you think of Pleasance?
I am personally not a fan, but these virtue names go nicely with classics, so Alice Pleasance is kind of nice.

I like it in theory but I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy it in practice, on a real person. It might be too saccharine. As a middle name, it does seem nice.
I like the Alice in Wonderland connection, and also Pleasance is a ghost town in the video game Red Dead Redemption with a creepy backstory, so that's a nice bit of added personality. It takes the edge off the sweetness of the name a bit.

I've never liked it at all: it's not a virtue name, it's not even in general use as a vocabulary item, and it has an annoying half-rhyme with Alice. Even Alice Clemency would be better. Her other siblings had better names, considering when they were being named: Lorina Charlotte Skene; Lionel Charles Liddell; Rhoda Caroline Liddell; Violet Constance Liddell; Edward Henry Liddell; Sir Frederick Frances Liddell and Edith Mary Liddell, according to Geni.com, though I'm sceptical about Frederick Frances. Violet Constance is closest to Alice Pleasance, with the difference that Constance is in general use and I don't know another example of a Pleasance, though perhaps post-Wonderland there were a few?
Don't really like it
