There is a town in North Carolina named Fuquay-Varina. Wikipedia has an interesting story about how it got its name. Another NC town, Lucama, was named by the newspaper editor for his friends LUcy, CArrie, and MAry Borden.
Anyway... I like it. Different without being outlandish.

It's grown on me a lot since I found it all over the place in my family tree (mainly French/Swiss/German Protestants). It's so fun to say.
