[Opinions] Mandy vs. Mindy
Which one would you choose and why?

Mandy, by a thin margin. I don’t care for Amanda much, it’s just kind of blah and boring… Mandy is cute, though.
Mindy is a bit too nasally and a little bit annoying.

Mandy
I think it's prettier.

I guess Mindy because it seems less like a nickname.
This is probably not a common perception, but Mindy is very American today whereas Mandy is very English. I would therefore choose Mindy as it feels less common here. Miranda “Mindy” I think.
I prefer Mandy, as a nn for Amanda
Mandy, although calling people Mindy is probably what made me warm up to Mandy.
Mindy is sweet in a dated/retro yet perpetually young way like Heidi, Lindy, Cindy, Wendy. I can't think of a full name for it, and I wouldn't use it by itself, despite it seeming cute.
Mandy is similar but seems spunkier, and I'm fond of Amanda despite it seeming dated.
Eta: Melinda "Mindy" would be nice. Now I don't really have a preference, although I guess used on their own, Mandy seems a tad sturdier.

Mindy. I don't especially like it but it's better than Mandy, which sounds whiny. I far prefer both Amanda and Melinda without a nn.
Mindy for sure. Cute as a button and a sprightly sort of retro.
