Do you think the name Thomas is the lower class? or upper class?

I don’t see it as upper nor lower class. It’s an extremely common name that people of all backgrounds, upbringings, "classes" have. It’s my grandfather’s name so if I ever have a son I’d probably use it in the MN spot. Tommy is a cute nickname as well.

For me Thomas is just a classic name, it's certainly not lower class though.

What an odd question. Do people really care about this still? Thomas is for all classes. Why limit a name or ourselves?

Middle class? Both my grandfathers were Thomas; one definitely working class, the other a highly skilled artisan. In today's world, do these distinctions still apply? Or would, say, populist versus traditional be closer to what actually happens when naming?

Upper-class. Very handsome, noble name. I can see why it’s popular. It also reminds me of Thomas and his Friends. The meaning is also quite intriguing.
