I like Chloe. I think it is pretty, stylish and, although now it is very popular, original, even though I don't feel the same for Zoe or Zoey.Still, four or five years ago I would have told you I LOVED it. Not now. When a name becomes too popular and you see that many girls under the age of ten wear it, it begins to lose its appeal. I still think it's a nice name, but not like before. I wouldn't put it on my daughter.

I’ve always really liked this name and probably would have considered using it, but it doesn’t work with our surname.

I really dislike Chloe and its cousin Zoe. The sound seems so grating and unfeminine. My apologies to anyone out there with either name.

I was really into this name abou 5-6 years ago and I loved the idea of a sister set Chloe, Elizabeth and Shaylee. I thought it would be a very sweet set but now those names seem pretty disconjointed, but that was the thought at the time. I still like Chloe but not to the same degree, but it still has class. The only thing is it was a really popular cat and dog name in my region for a while so there's that. How do you feel about Cleo?

Cleo is alright, I guess. That seems more pet-like than Chloe, to me. Maybe because of Cleo from Clifford the Big Red Dog. Chloe would be a nice dog or cat name, tbh. I don't think it's a bad thing. Also, Chloe Elizabeth would be a nice combo, lol. I personally prefer Shayla to Shaylee.

This was my cats name. I actually think it’s a nice name. For some reason I prefer the aesthetic look of Chloë, but same difference. It kinda makes me think of spring.

My name's Chloe so I really wanted to comment. It's pretty but it needs a loooong break. I can see why people like it and I can also see why others don't.

I like it. Like Perrine, I think of spring green buds. The sound isn't quite my style but it's appealing.
Sad that it seems to have been a bit overused.

I like it too, though I prefer the French pronunciation to the English one.

The only Chloe people I know of in South Africa (there must be many more!) were born in the 1950s and, I'd guess, 1910-20. I like it very much; it seems fresh and lively.

I like Chloe as well. It sounds nice and makes me think of the color green and of spring.Funny that you mention it now because it totally goes into the Megan, Caitlin - category for me.Megan, Caitlin and Chloe were all born in the 90s and like Martha mentioned are all somewhere between classics like Sarah, Katherine and Laura and trendy names such as Brittany, Ashley and Lindsay.Chloe, Caitlin and Megan aren't super classic but also not trendy. So to me they are still very usable and nice.
