I confirmed my dislike of it when I met a youngster named it.
It's partly the dated-suburban-landscaping association, and partly the NIP. Nipper. I like just June.
I also met Juniper's sister Mavis, and I discovered I really like that one.

I've never been particularly into it previously until a YouTuber I watch named her daughter Juniper a few months ago. Now I find it a little intriguing. Not my first choice in a first name but definitely middle name material fodder in my book. Junie and June are both nice nicknames.

I like it. It's one of my favorite nature names; it has such a fun sound.

Juniper is a lot of fun. It has an atypical ending for feminine names, particularly in Anglophone culture, yet is similar enough to one of the most popular names (Jennifer) that it doesn't sound "too odd."
