In my honest option it’s really not that bad. Horribly overused, obviously, But at least it’s not the name of a disease. It’s an average name, nothing interesting, cute, or even special about it,
The “son of...” meaning bothers me enough, but even then for some reason whenever I SAY Madison, it sounds masculine.
I like Maddie, I don’t like Maddy. All in all I much prefer Madeline, and Maddelena. (Don’t care for Maddalena)

I remember when I was like 5-7 years old I wanted the middle name Madison-Rose. I think I even wanted my name to actually BE Madison. Now? No thank you.
