Catherine is out. There have been too many Catherine people and variants for too long. Pity: it must have been lovely once.
That leaves two monosyllables. OK ... Anne is a family name: my grandmother, a cousin, me and my daughter. So I'll give it a break!
And Jane is lovely, serene and understated.
