Help[Opinions] New twins - any comments?
Very new little girls got their photos in local media today: Anabelle and Acacia!
I like Annabel, but not the way they spell it. Acacia doesn't appeal - it's a very thorny tree, and the thorns drop off so it's really not good for kids to play under. Indigenous, which is good; very pretty when in flower, also good. Don't much like the sound, too close to a sneeze.
I'd have liked Annabel and Alison, if it had to be two A names.

They don't sound like sisters at all, let alone twins. Annabelle and Amelia would have been more likely, or Acacia and Athena?

Annabelle never looks "complete" to me unless it is spelled thusly. I never understood the appeal of any other spelling because both Anabelle & Annabel looks like a child in kindergarten can't spell their own name correctly. Annabel particularly looks like someone cut of the end of it with hedge clippers. I can't stand the asthetics of Acacia the double C's in different places is very unattractive to me.

I generally prefer names with rounded off E's or A's just in general a lot of times. Not exclusively obviously but it just looks better to me.

Neither are names I'd use, but it's refreshing from the usual Ava & Olivia (etc).

I prefer themed-names rather than have the same initials.
For example: I like a twinset Willow & Hazel and I dislike a twinset Anita & Alice.
I'm a twin and I usually dislike names that are too similar. My sister and I are Amanda and Rossana so totally different and not matched at all.
I like Acacia while Annabel is very plain and boring.
