I love Alvin. I’d probably try to avoid other two-syllable names, names ending in -n or other “chipmunk” names, so I’d probably end up with something like

I like both Alvin and Melvin, but not enough to use in real life.

I will choose Arwin. It sounds very feminine to me, perhaps because of Arwen in the "Lord of the Rings," but I like it better than any of the other options. Arwin Roderick for a boy. If I can make Arwin a girl, then Arwin Everild.
