[Opinions] Coretta and Loretta
How would you rate them on a scale of 1-10 and why?
How would you use them in a combo?~ song of the week: "Little Sparrow"

Damn. I'm the only person here who kind of likes them. Not much though. I'm bored of -etta, -ette and -elle being slapped at the end of names, almost as bored as I am of -anne and -anna. But Loretta is my favorite out of the two. It sounds..fluffy, or breezy. It rolls better off the tongue. Cor doesn't sound right if you give it the wrong "suffix". But I do like Cora! Coretta and Loretta just feel very elderly to me.Coretta:5.
Loretta:6. Not my cup of tea, but not bad.

I dislike both, I very slightly prefer Loretta but they both feel very frilly and artificial and stuffy and sickly. They make me think of a dusty second-hand china doll, not a delicate beautiful one, one that's slightly dogeared and dirty and maybe a bit sticky from being played with by small children who don't look after it, dressed in an ugly bubble-gum pink over-the-top puffy, lacy ballgown. I'd give Loretta maybe a 2.5/10 and Coretta a 2/10. I think there are many better name choices that begin with Cor- or Lor- sounds, and a few better names ending in -etta sounds.

I dislike them both. Loretta is better, but only slightly. They are both over-ornate. I'd use Laura in a heartbeat, and if I had to use a Cor- name for some strange reason, it'd be Coralie. The Cor- sounds different in my dialect, but that's fine by me.
