Reminds me of the flower; they are usually pink. I hate pink. They attract bees. I'm deathly allergic. I can't even take it seriously on a person.

A very underrated flower name. Far more interesting than the usual Rose or Lily. Love the nickname Zali too. Azalea nn Zali is a girl with spunk.

A lot of people probably think it's modern, but it was my grandma's middle name, so I don't have that impression.

I think the symbolism is lovely, and it sounds nice enough. I like that there's a species native to the Appalachians.

It’s pretty, though the meaning is a bit lacklustre. There are other flower names I prefer.
