Help[Games] Years of Your Life dice game, Part 1/5 (first 13 years)
This will be a 5 part series. Part 1 will be years 0-13, Part 2 will be years 14-18, Part 3 will be years 19-40, Part 4 will be years 41-60, and Part 5 will be years 61-80. Of course you can discontinue anywhere along the lines but the option to continue will be there. :blush:

Roll the dice to determine what happens each year. You can choose whether you want one or two life events to happen per year. It's your choice how detailed you want to be. Since major changes happen every year while we're young, I'm making separate Life Event sections for different stages of life. You can add things like whether they attend preschool and kindergarten before 1st grade, whether there's graduation ceremonies at their schools, etc (those sorts of details are more set per age rather than dice game format :lol: )
Year 1 will be creating your parents, determining whether you have older siblings, and creating you! You can decide the sex/gender of your parents and what they look like. Use the Name section to pick their names.
Next, we'll determine if you have older siblings with a 6 sided dice: (you will decide whether they are adopted or biological)

Now, let's create you! Use the Name section to pick your name. Use any dice to determine your appearance (hair, eyes, skin tone). Odd numbers will mean you resemble parent 1 and even numbers will mean you resemble parent 2.

Year Zero
Lillian Thurayya and Esther Isabel Curie Al Din have welcoemd a baby boy, Hugo Qamar Curie Al Din. Hugo has thick black hair and brown skin, like Lillian, and grey eyes like Esther. He has one older sibling, a sister named Zahrah Winter-Rose Curie Al Din. Zahra has Lillian's hair as well, and her brown eyes, but she shares Esther's fair skin. At 8 months old, Lillian and Esther realize that Hugo is incredibly smart, able to recognize and say an above average amount of words.

Year One
At a year and a half, Hugo hits a milestone early: he begins to walk by himself! The family are elated at this, and he is constantly shocking them with his profiency.

Year Two
Despite his profiency for walking and speaking, Hugo doesn't seem to understand many social cues. He doesn't wave at people when they leave or when he meets them, and he doesn't understand games like peek-a-boo. And though he speaks often, he doesn't communicate well nonverbally. Concerned, Lillian and Esther talked to Hugo's pediatrician, who is going to watch him for a social developmental disorder.

Year Three
Esther finds out she's pregnant, and the whole family is very excited preparing for the new baby. Imagine their shock when they learn they'll be welcoming not one, but two! The Curie Al Din family welcome identical twin girls, Lina Madeline Curie Al Din and Ruqayya Inès Curie Al Din. Lina and Ruqayya are identical twins, who look just like Esther: brown hair, grey eyes, and fair skin.

Year Four
Hugo is diagnosed as Deaf, having lost his hearing after falling out of a tree. None of his family members are Deaf, but Lillian and Esther have Deaf friends who help guide them through the new diagnosis. Year Zero
Lillian Thurayya and Esther Isabel Curie Al Din have welcoemd a baby boy, Hugo Qamar Curie Al Din. Hugo has thick black hair and brown skin, like Lillian, and grey eyes like Esther. He has one older sibling, a sister named Zahrah Winter-Rose Curie Al Din. Zahra has Lillian's hair as well, and her brown eyes, but she shares Esther's fair skin. At 8 months old, Lillian and Esther realize that Hugo is incredibly smart, able to recognize and say an above average amount of words.

Year One
At a year and a half, Hugo hits a milestone early: he begins to walk by himself! The family are elated at this, and he is constantly shocking them with his profiency.

Year Two
Despite his profiency for walking and speaking, Hugo doesn't seem to understand many social cues. He doesn't wave at people when they leave or when he meets them, and he doesn't understand games like peek-a-boo. And though he speaks often, he doesn't communicate well nonverbally. Concerned, Lillian and Esther talked to Hugo's pediatrician, who is going to watch him for a social developmental disorder.

Year Three
Esther finds out she's pregnant, and the whole family is very excited preparing for the new baby. Imagine their shock when they learn they'll be welcoming not one, but two! The Curie Al Din family welcome identical twin girls, Lina Madeline Curie Al Din and Ruqayya Inès Curie Al Din. Lina and Ruqayya are identical twins, who look just like Esther: brown hair, grey eyes, and fair skin.

Hugo is diagnosed as Deaf, having lost his hearing after falling out of a tree. None of his family members are Deaf, but Lillian and Esther have Deaf friends who help guide them through the new diagnosis. He has no deaf family members to connect to and he and his family must learn ASL together. It is a definite struggle but it brings them closer together as a family.

They were married two and half years later and my dad relocated to San Francisco, where my mom had a well paying job in IT. My older sister Gracie was born before their first anniversary and I, Willow, followed three years later.

Well he certainly was surprised that day because he forget all about those funny cooing sounds he always makes that make me laugh, I was not impressed. Rosie arrived safe and sound just months after my first birthday and I have moved to the middle child position, she looks nothing like me or Grace, who is smitted by the baby, as for me I'm not sure what all that fuss about.

Bo and Ottilie Ophelia Guan (nee Johnson) have given birth to their first baby, a girl named Avery Xue Guan. She has straight black hair like her Chinese father, is darker-skinned like her Black mother, and shares both of their brown eyes. Ottilie joins a mummy-and-me painting class where the mothers paint while their children finger paint. Avery gets along great with most of the babies, especially Winter, the daughter of Ottilie's best friend.

Avery loses her Dad's grandpa, Yéyé. She didn't know him, and she's not old enough to understand, anyway, but it takes a toll on her dad.

Avery is diagnosed as Deaf. Her Auntie Edith was also born Deaf, and because of this her mother knows sign language. She begins to teach BASL to Avery and her husband as well.

After three years of marriage, Bo and Ottilie separate, then divorce later in the year. Avery hates the separation and doesn't understand it, but by the time the divorce rolls around she's become much more accustomed to splitting her time.

While at their painting class, Ottilie realizes that Avery is incredibly adept at art for her age. Excited, she enrolls her in lessons with the local art assocation that provides the Mummy and Me classes.

Bo and his new girlfriend, Riley Leah Lewis, welcome a baby girl named Harper Zhihao Guan. Harper has straight hair, like both her parents. It's blonde, like her mom's, and she has her dad's brown eyes. Her skintone is closer to that of her white mother than Bo. Avery's not the biggest fan of Harper at first, by no fault of her own - she doesn't like Riley that much, either.

I didn't start walking until after I was eighteen months old, despite the Mommy and me class in my infancy. The doctors were a little concerned, but once I started moving around, I went right to running and jumping and hardly ever walked anywhere.
