[Opinions] Bit of a boring one, but…
What do you think of Robert? It’s grown on me. What middle name would you use? Do you prefer Robert or Robin? And what do you think of Roberta? Thank you! :)

I like Robert and Robin. I might slightly prefer Robin. It is less macho in an appealing way. But Robert is a beautiful friendly name - major family name for me.I'm not a huge fan of Roberta. It gives away the secret that Robert is actually a "bert" name which is TBH kind of embarrassing.Middle names...Robert Drake - sounds very explorer-y
Robert ??? Lionel
Robert Edwin
God I'm not on it today.
Robert TheodoreRobin ... Edward
Robin Parsnip
Robin Elfangor
Robin Wystan

I never had very strong feelings on the name Robert. It’s okay, but nothing special.

I like Robert. It has lots of nickname options and is a family name for me. I would probably only use it as middle names, but I think it would be handsome, and very unexpected as a first name nowadays.

It’s a family name for me too :) Lots of Roberts!

I think Robert is a fine name, but I wouldn't use it, due to its' popularity and large usage.
I would try to find a more unusual middle name. Robert Adrian, Robert Phineas, Robert Watson, etc.
I like Robin and Roberta.

Robert is classic for a reason. I think it is just fine. I’d use another traditional middle name like William, Thomas, David, Michael, Matthew. I like it tons more than Robin. While, I like some feminized male names, I don’t see an appeal in Roberta.

Robertas Benediktas is such a cool name. I like Robert Ivo too, thanks!

What do you think of Robert?
Robert is certainly well worn. I like Robin as a nickname, but Bob is a dull blob of a name. Robbie is cute on little kids. Rob is fine. What middle name would you use?
Robert Adair
Robert Amadeus
Robert Bellamy - I love how piratical this sounds.
Robert Daumantas
Robert Glendower
Robert Radomir - If you like alliteration
Robert Velibor
Robert Walden
Robert Yeruslan
Robert Yorath

Do you prefer Robert or Robin?
Robin. I love Robin and would consider using it for a son. Robin Arthur is among my favorite combos for boys. I like Robin for girls too, but there are other girl names that I like more. And what do you think of Roberta?
By virtue of scarcity, it is more interesting than Robert. It is a clunker but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I imagine Roberta having a forceful personality and a solid throwing arm.

Oooh, I like Robert Bellamy, too—very piratical!

It's probably the best of all the "Bert" names, but I don't like the Bert sound at all (so I can't say I'm a fan of Roberta, either). I vastly refer Robin - in fact I genuinely like Robin as a unisex name - and think Rob is a decent nickname.Combos for Robert:Robert Alister
Robert Harris
Robert Anthony
Robert Nathaniel
Robert Bennett
Robert Benedict
Robert Elliot
Robert Gabriel
Robert Jericho
Robert Geoffrey / Robert Jeffrey
Robert Jonathan
Robert Maxwell
Robert Timothy
Robert Wesley
Robert William

I really dislike Robert, sorry. It's too old, even though babies get old too.

For me it's the other way round. I think the name John is incredibly boring and I really like the name Robert!

Definitely boring in my opinion. Very much dislike Robert, Robin, and Roberta. Just plain boring. No other reason.

I think it's nice, but I prefer Robin. Robin is a fantastic name, one of the few genuinely unisex names out there not to mention it just sounds nice. As for Roberta... It seems a little forced. Again, just use Robin.

Robert is my youngest brother's name. I like it well enough. His middle name is Alexander.Robin I love for both boys and girls, and I also love Robyn for girls. Robert would have been Robyn if he'd been a girl (largely coincidentally, they were just the two names they liked).Roberta is gorgeous.
