How do you feel about the name Augusta?

I adore Augusta! It has panache.

I do not like any of the Gus- names: August, Augusta, Augustine, Augustus... none of them appeal to me at all. They all sound incredibly harsh to my ears.

If I ignore the fact that a friend of mine when I was little now lives in a town named Augusta, it's nice. I mean, that's not the worst association for any name, but I think of it as a city before I think of it as a name.
