Oona Roisin Laine (25) is a young screenwriter who has worked with
Tegan on multiple occasions.
Oona thinks
Tegan has potential to go for in the business if she could only find a way to work on her focus.
Oona fears
Tegan has a tendency to get overwhelmed & is worried it may hold her back.
Oona fell in love with writing & literature when she was about 7 years old. Her mother self published her own children’s book &
Oona thought it was the coolest thing ever. She remembers seeing her mother’s books for the first time in a tangible medium. All of the bright scenes and characters felt like they were jumping off the page & now as a young adult
Oona assists them.
Unlike most of her fellow screenwriters
Oona is perfectly content with keeping her films small. She enjoys entering her films into festivals & even traveling for them. One of her favorite memories is when she entered one of her first films into the Sapporo Short Fest in Japan & got to see Japan for the first time. She enjoyed visiting the Hokkaido Museum of Modern
Art & even made a new friend while touring the Ishiya Chocolate Factory.
