I agree with the comments, it’s very dorky. Also reminds me of aliens for some reason.

My cousin used this as a middle name for one of her sons, as a means of honoring one of her husband's ancestors. I don't care for it, myself.

I like Marvin because I like V's. Also a fan of Melvin.

It's passed the point of no return; it isn't retro-chic or classic; it's cliche dork name.

I think Marvin (and Marvyn) are absolutely dreadful. They reminds me of a pimply teenager.
