Oaklynn- why did they try to mix up
Ashlynn? It sounds so clunky and dog-like and I hate it.
Wren- I like it but it’s not my thing. It’s a bit too gothy for my liking but it’s not really any less normal than
Raven.
Lainey- I’d prefer the spelling
Laney. It’s alright. Not much really interesting about it.
Stevie- I like
Stevie over
Stephanie. This was my grandma’s name.
Daphne- I like the sound and story of it but I’ve been contemplating taking it off my PNL cuz scooby doo. It’s also kinda bimboey, but not too bad.
Noa- I’d prefer just using
Noah on a girl honestly. It’s not really my thing since
Noah was a guy in the Bible, but it can still work on a girl. It looks incomplete, and I don’t get how getting rid of the h makes it less masculine.
Danna- I don’t like
Dana, and it’s even worse with 2 ns. It’s boring and dated, but not a bad choice.
Navy- absolutely not. It reminds me too much of the military and belly buttons.
Alora- means “so…” or “well…” in Italian, but it’s misspelled. I wouldn’t be able to unsee that.
Oaklee- even less human than
Oaklynn.
Raya- my only association is the Disney movie so to me this is like naming your kid
Moana just because of the movie. Could also be a cultural name though so idk.
Wrenley-
Wren is fine but modernizing like this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Salem- ew. Gothy, but WAY too gothy. Makes me think of executions.
Mylah- I don’t really care for it. I already didn’t like
Mila that much.
Analia- first 4 letters are uhhh… not good.
Amelia or
Amalia, but not ANALIA.
Anya- I like it and it reminds me of the name
Freya and
Anya Taylor-Joy.
Opal- I’ve tried to like this name, but I just can’t. The sound is just too ugly.
Journi- the only variation of
Journey I find to be tolerable is the correct spelling.
Journey.
Margo- I actually prefer this over
Margot because
Margot sorta looks like the word maggot.
Flora- I’m sort of glad to see
Flora coming back because I kinda like the name but always thought it was too old sounding.
Noah- see
Noa Della- I’d prefer
Bella,
Stella, or
Nella. This makes me think of deli.
Freyja- not spelled like that.
Freya is the anglicized version and it’s much easier to pronounce correctly.
Murphy- bleh. It makes me think of a puppet or something.
Fallon- my only association is
Jimmy Fallon, so it’s a no for me.
Halle- I don’t mind it, but it sort of reminds me of the word hail.
Halo- makes me think of
Beyoncé and the video games. There’s just too much media with this name for it to work. It’s also really pretentious.
Promise- she’s gonna get puns the rest of her life. Pretty word, but it won’t work as a name.
Jenesis- just name her
Genesis. I hate it but whatever. When you try to misspell it, it just looks even tackier.
Hadlee- prefer
Hadley but this is alright too. Although I’m not a big fan of either.
Aila- phonetic spelling of
Isla. I still don’t like either.
Isla at least had an island factor but
Aila just looks bland now.
Azariah- prefer
Azaria. I used to think this was really cool but now it’s a little bit ugly. Still a solid name though.
Giana- I like both
Gianna and Giana equally, but it’s too common for my tastes.
Ila- see
Aila, I feel the same way.
Jovie- I have mixed feelings. It reminds me of
Zeus and it has a cool feel but idk if I like the spelling. Jovi would be better.
Denver- if you live in the country it’s fine. Anywhere else it’s kinda weird. It has a ring to it but I wouldn’t use it.
Marceline- I used to really like this name. Now it’s just okay. The name is pretty itself but I can’t picture it on someone pretty if that makes any sense.
Kiana- it’s fine. Reminds me a bit too much of
Keanu Reeves.
Iyla- see
AilaDrew- it’s kinda cool on a girl (like
Drew Barrymore) but I think it’s time the boys steal some girl names just to mix things up a bit yknow 😈😈😈
Kamari- it’s fine but not my taste.
Edit: I did not realize
Salem was an Arabic name whoops
