[Games] Names Against Humanity (Trivia Game)
Hey y'all! Welcome to Names Against Humanity. This is my version of a trivia/quiz game, inspired by real trivia and guessing games like Cards Against Humanity, charades, hangman, I Spy, Jeopardy and Pictionary.
Gameplay:
1) One player is the Name Czar or Czarina (NC) - for the first round, that'll be me. The NC picks a name, but doesn't say what it is. Rather, he/she leaves a hint for others to guess.
2) The other players will now attempt to guess what name the NC is thinking of.
3) If a guess is wrong, the NC will say Wrong, No, Incorrect or X, and the players will continue to guess.
4) Players may only ask yes/no questions, and the NC may only answer yes/no (or refuse to answer, if that'll give away the name too easily). In addition, only 5 questions are allowed in the same round.
5) If nobody has made the correct guess in a long time, the NC is allowed to (but doesn't have to) leave another hint.
6) The first player to guess correctly becomes the next NC. When this happens, a new round begins.
Additional rules/info:
1) Guessing more than once is allowed, but not twice in a row, to insure fairness. Wait for the NC or another player to post before going again.
2) Each guess must be made as a post to the main thread, not one of the comments. In addition, the winner of a round must post to the main thread as well, when starting a new round as the next NC.
3) If the NC has been inactive for more than 24 hours (since his/her most recent post), another player is allowed to take over as the NC. If this happens, a new round begins.
4) Don't cheat by using Google, Wikipedia, etc. There's no fun in that.
5) For the best experience, posts should be sorted in ascending order (oldest at the top).
Round 1, here we go! Let's start with something easy.
This name belongs to the mother of a well-known religious figure. What name am I thinking of?
