[Opinions] Re: Amber

Ember, if it keeps rising (I think it will).
Like Amber circa 1972.
Harper, if it stays in the top 50 for another decade.
Like Amber circa 1985.
In sort of same category IMO:
Hazel and Ruby, except they have more historical use. Autumn, but it rose slower and seems steadier. Phoenix and River, if Amber had been unisex. Oakley, Oaklynn, Willow, Harlow, Wren.
I think Oaklynn, Wren, Ember, Emma, Harper, Willow as a group is roughly comparable to Ashley, Robin, Amber, Amanda, Heather, Holly, basically...
Jade had a slower rise plus seems less distinctive to me because it's also commonly a NN for the Jaden name group.

I like Ember but it kind of feels like such a cheat it's only one letter off lol but I do think it has a whole different feel than Amber.
Me too, but I'm positing Amber had a different vibe before it was in the top 100; I do get very similar imagery from the concepts...a warm glowy color and a sense of enduring/preserving...though Amber's more ornamental.
