Hmmm, I don't speak Yiddish, but I think that many Yiddish names have diminutive forms ending in -el, -ele or -l. For example Tzirel for
Sarah
, Shoshele for Shoshanna,
Yentl
for Yenta, Fraydel for Frayda...
Short and sweet like Swedish summer....
