I see. I'm not sure whether a group of three letters can be a phoneme, or if there's a different name for groups of three, I just know that they have to be next to each other to be considered one.

I should also probably apologize for any confusion caused by saying that the 'll' phoneme is in the words apple and puzzle. I've just re-read my original post and realised that that doesn't actually make sense, which may have made my post a bit difficult to understand!
