[Opinions] Alberta vs. Roberta
Which would you choose if you had to choose one?
You can't say you wouldn't choose either.
Also, would you call her by a nickname? Which middle name would you use?
Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I like both, but Alberta more.
Two women I know named Roberta go by Roz. Another goes by Bobbie.
Mine would be:
Roberta Zoe "Roz"

It's funny, I dislike Robert, but adore Roberta. Roberta is so saucy and feisty. I think of it as a "loud broad" kind of name and I love loud broads, I wish I was one. Roberta is glamorous in a bombastic, heavy sort of way, like Barbara, and I enjoy that about it.
As for nicknames, I love all the options for Roberta: Robbie, Bobbie, Bertie, Ruby, and even Bob or Rob. Actually, this name makes me think of my late aunt, who always had the mysterious family nickname of "Kim-Bob". She was a wonderful lady. Yeah, this name is great!
Middle names, hmm... I think Roberta would go with a lot of my favourites, but the result might be VERY musty:
Roberta Rosemary
Roberta Muriel
Roberta Eudora
Roberta Daisy? Daisy Roberta is better
Roberta Ruby is pretty cute!
Roberta Cleo, oh, love that
Roberta Minerva
Roberta Cleo is really speaking to me. I'd go with that.
Sorry, I got so distracted that I forget to talk about Alberta. It's fun, but for me it's just the province. I guess it could be a poetic sort of name if someone from Alberta moved away but wanted to remember their home. I like thinking of it that way, actually. Maybe paired with something vintage and wistful.

Roberta Cleo is gorgeous!
I really like both, but at the moment, I'm leaning towards Roberta because it's brassier.

Alberta for sure. It was my great-grandmother’s name and she went by Bert, which I actually love. I would probably use Birdie for a nickname naturally. I als like Alta though it seems more contrived.
