I think both are fine. Realistically, I would prefer Erica, but Erika is pretty nice as well. Erica is pretty in a simple yet classy way. Not too flashy or as if the parents are trying to tell you how “different” they are, just nice. Erika is cool, but I’m not a huge fan.

It’s kind of like how I feel about Eric. I recently met an Erick a few months ago and when I first saw the spelling I was just like “Awww come on now, why THAT spelling? Eric is such a nice name.” but then I learned it’s just a matter of culture. Erick has actually grown in me even if I prefer Eric or Erik.
