[Opinions] Marvina
Marvina is a name I came across today. WDYT?Do you prefer Marva as a feminine form of Marvin?

I don't even prefer Marvin! If there was a Marvin in the family that I really wanted to honour - winner of a VC or the Grand National - and had a girl by mistake (!), I'd use Marvin undiluted as a mn; as I would for a boy. Did you hear Marvina, or see it? Is it MARvinna or marVEEna? And I really don't think Marva is an improvement.

I heard and saw it written down. My customer pronounced her name MarVEEna

I actually think Marvina is kind of pretty. I like a lot of names ending in -ina.

NooI don’t like it. Sounds like a forced feminization and it’s just not attractive in the slightest. Marva is even worse, it sounds like larva.

Cute, very "quirky fantasy" sort of name, like it belongs in the Roald Dahl universe. Marvin is such a great name too.Marva is ok but it has more of a cartoon villain thing going for it, so I prefer Marvina.

Don't really like either. Don't really think of Marvin association with Marva
