I can provide more details about the dolls, and add their modern "Girl of the Year" characters.
Kaya-Aton-My: (I may have misspelld that a bit.) Nez Perce, her name supposedly means "she who arranges rocks."

Aduke Walker is of West African descent and Aduke is after a grandmother. She's called Addy, and the family takes the name Walker after they walk north to freedom.
