[Opinions] Anne
Anne is a girl’s name that I’ve always came back to; even when I feel, “Anne is too bland and short!,” I end up loving it again. It’s not difficult to pronounce, it’s easy to spell, it looks gorgeous, and it’s plain but makes a statement. What do you think of Anne on a little girl in 2023?

I love Anne and hate Ann. I wouldn't use Anne because the only difference between it and Ann is the look. To me Anne is a beautiful name to read, but it's not that great to hear. I like the idea of Anne 'Annie' on a little girl, but I'd choose Anna in an actual "give this as a first name to your baby" situation.

Anne Cecilia has always been a favorite combo. I would have had no problem giving my daughter that name. My husband was not a fan, however. I'm not sure why but he doesn't like short names. Naomi, Leah, Anne, and Nina were all nixxed.

It’s rather nice as a first name! Especially paired with a longer middle name. And Annie is such a sweet nickname for it.

I like it (only as a first name)! Meeting a little Anne would be a pleasant surprise.

It's my mn, because it was my paternal grandmother's mn. I also have a cousin named Anne Florence, both names honouring. I like it very much.I used Anne as a mn for my daughter, to keep the tradition going. I would like to see it used as a fn: I'm so bored with Anna that I could scream, though very quietly and politely. My daughter's first name is my mother's, her first mn is her step-grandmother's mn and then along comes Anne.

I like it very much, though only as a first name. Like Rose, it makes a boring middle.

I think it's timeless and pretty but it's fine for middle name tho.

Thanks for the response! Though, it’s kind of funny; my boyfriend isn’t my husband (yet), and we’re not able to adopt children yet. I just like the name and wanted others input.
