I was watching football and saw it. An alternative spelling is Devante. I've probably seen it before, but it stuck out to me yesterday.
Do you like it?
Do you think it sounds dated (I grew up with Lavonte / Levante in the 90s, but it looks like Devante was even more of a thing) or does it seem about the age of a modern Dante?

It does seem like an older name, I would see people in their 20s with this name—either way I really like it! I especially like the spelling Devante

I don't care for it, but it isn't terrible. I like it just a touch better than Dante. It feels a bit more current than Dante. I know my daughter, who is 17, has a school friend named Davonte.

It does sound a little dated but I wouldn’t be surprised to meet one in their 20s. I would be surprised to meet a toddler with the same name.
