I think both are lovely, but I prefer Rosalie.

I really like both names! Today, I slightly prefer Violet. Tomorrow, I may prefer Rosalie.

I would probably wind up using Violet more often, its vibe is more versatile and I like its NNs (Vi, Vio, Let, Letta, Lettie), but Rosalie is still very lovely

Violet shortens to Vi; Rosalie shortens to Rose. Rosalie, then! No contest.

I like Violet, although not quite enough to want to use it.
Rosalie is nice in French, but I feel like in English it seems a little bit too cutesy for my taste.

Violet by far. I don't mind Rosalie but Violet sounds very elegant and, I don't know, well-kempt to me, vibrant yet pleasantly subtle.
