Me and you and a dog named Blue. I know the actual lyrics are Boo but I always heard it as Blue. I don’t like it as a human name and it’s not a great dog name either.

I'm so lonesome, for you....I think it's a celebrity kid name: Blue Bear Rebel Rocket Apricot Zamboni was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center via C-section. The mother and father are over the moon.

Don't worry, she isn't real.

I don’t care much for this name, because it’s too literal of a color. What if they end up hating the color Blue?

It's a name for a dog, and not a very good one; dogs aren't blue. Even gray dogs and cats aren't really blue despite being officially designated as Blue terrier or Russian blue.
Ever since Cher and Gregg Allman stuck Blue in as their son Elijah's middle name, people, mainly celebrities, have liked to tack it onto their kids' names. It's dumb.

And it sounds like Blew. Elijah Blew Allman.

Nah. Slightly better than Mauve or Turquoise, perhaps, but even worse than Scarlet(t).

I know a couple people named Blue! They changed their name to Blue—I don’t know anyone who got that name from their parents—but regardless I think it suits them well. It’s a short, strong, evocative name as far as I’m concerned :D

I like Bluebird, Bluejay, Bluebell. Blue by itself is a little too anonymous or aimless for my liking, I think...my mind wanders in the direction of chicken cordon bleu and Blue's Clues and little boy blue, come blow your horn...But if I had a coworker called it, I'd probably like using it.
