[Opinions] Mortimer…too gloomy?

I watched Arsenic and Old Lace the other day and Cary Grants character was Mortimer Brewster. Cary won me over on the name but what do you all think? Is it too…mortifying?Do you like the nn Morty or maybe Tim/Timmy?I’d be really curious to see what combos you could think of :)
